About the brand
Cayman Villas was established in the Cayman Islands in 1970 as the only vacation rental booking agent, helping property owners rental out their condos or villas to tourists who wanted an alternative to the typical hotel experience.
In recent years, new competitors had come into the marketplace and online booking channels such as VRBO or Airbnb were becoming more prevalent – cutting into the business of Cayman Villas. Savage Consulting was hired to create a strategy designed to help Cayman Villas maintain a competitive edge and adapt their business model to support a growth strategy in line with their strengths and market opportunities.
What we did
We conducted an analysis of the business and the vacation rental market to identify best practices that could be implemented. We also revisiting the overall branding to establish their unique selling proposition. We created new reports and KPI’s and a full-scale marketing and business development plan to support the new strategy.
Savage Consulting managed the entire roll out of each initiative in the strategy, which included the launch of a new brand identity that focused on their on-island presence and market-knowledge ‘Since 1970’. Cayman Villas experienced an increase in bookings of over 30% within the first high season and has established an improved experience for guests to set them apart from their competitors – poised for future growth.
